The Maker range, produced exclusively for bars and restaurants, are fruit driven expressions delivering varietal-expressive wines. Suitable either individually or matched with a wide range of cuisine.

'Fleur de Lis' Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough 2016

Tasting Note:

Bearing the 'Fleur de Lis', which symbolises events of special signaificance, this Sauvignon Blanc is pale gold in colour, with hints of green at the edges. The palate has ripe passionfruit, stonefruit and hints of green capsicum. The wine finishes well, with sweetness and a lingering fresh acidity.

Tasting Note:

Sourced from France, the spiritual home of Sparkling Wine comes 'The Jewel' in the The Maker's crown.

A pale gold colour with fine and delicate bubbles, the aroma carries citrus and fresh flowers. An elegant and fresh wine, exhibiting exotic fruit characters including grapefruit and a touch of granny smith apple. Finishes well with a crispy acidity.

'Divinity Cross' Pinot Gris
Marlborough 2016

Tasting Note:

Displaying a lightened gold in the glass, this wine delivers aromas of lychee, shaved almond and a hint of sherbet. A full flavoured Pinot Gris, with tropical fruit notes of rock-melon and lychee on the palate. Finishing with fruit sweetness and a cleansing acidity.

With the moniker of 'Divinity Cross', representing the benchmark of this varietal.

'Knighthood' Chardonnay
Gisborne 2016

Tasting Note:

With a symbol of power and loyalty, 'The Knighthood' is a pale straw colour, the Chardonnay presenting itself with ripe stonefruits and melon aromas with hints of butterscotch. The palate is rich and full of tropical fruits with a hint of passionfruit.

Typical Gisborne qualities with a true approachability before finishing brightly.

'Monarch' Rose
Gisborne 2016

Tasting Note:

With the pretty brightness of a Monarch Butterfly this Rose shows itself a beautiful salmon pink colour in the glass. Surprisingly full flavoured with summer berries, ripe fruit and a refreshingly crisp acidity.

'Fire Eagle' Pinot Noir
Marlborough 2016

Tasting Note:

Hailing from Marlborough, this Pinot Noir displays its cool climate heritage with the lively aromas of cherry and raspberry. The palate is full of red fruits with a sweet fruit driven finish.

Emblazoned with the 'Fire Eagle' this wine is bold and soaring, a vision of power whilst retaining elegance.

'Kings Key' Merlot
Gisborne 2015

Tasting Note:

The 'Kings Key' opens the door to enjoyment and fulfillment, delivering a complex and aromatic wine, filled with black Doris plum and the subtle notes of oak and tannin. The ripe berry flavours of the Merlot are complemented by the fragrant and approachable nature of Viognier, blended in companionably.
